India's space technology startup Sanyark Space has been recognized among YourStory's Tech30 2026, highlighting its work on next-generation satellite navigation and communication technologies.

The recognition was announced at TechSparks 2026 in Bengaluru, where the Tech30 startups were unveiled by Sridhar Vembu, CEO of Zoho, according to Sanyark Space founder and CEO Raghava K.

Sanyark Space is developing Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technologies targeting resilient navigation, Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT), and Direct-to-Device (D2D) connectivity.

The company is currently working toward a major milestone — the launch of its maiden LEO-PNT satellite, which is intended to support the development of next-generation space-based navigation infrastructure.

For RF and satellite communications engineers, these technologies involve critical engineering challenges around satellite RF payloads, GNSS/PNT systems, antennas, frequency planning, link budgets and integration between satellite and terrestrial networks.

As India's private space technology ecosystem expands, startups developing indigenous satellite navigation and communication technologies could play an important role in strengthening the country's capabilities in space-based connectivity and critical infrastructure.
