India's PierSight Engages IIT Indore Students on SAR, FPGA and Space Technology Careers
Indian space technology company PierSight participated in IIT Indore's Industrial Conclave, introducing students to its satellite technology work and discussing career opportunities in Synthetic Aperture Radar, FPGA development, and space engineering.

Indian space technology company PierSight participated in the Industrial Conclave at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore, engaging with students and researchers on emerging opportunities in the country's growing space technology ecosystem.
Shashwat, representing PierSight's Founder's Office, attended the event and presented the company's work to students, highlighting the technical skills and engineering expertise sought by companies developing advanced satellite systems.
The discussions covered technologies including Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), two important areas in modern space electronics and radar engineering.
SAR technology enables radar imaging by processing signals collected as a radar platform moves, making it particularly useful for Earth observation applications.
FPGA technology supports high-speed digital signal processing and hardware acceleration, which are important in radar data acquisition, real-time signal processing, and satellite payload electronics.
During the event, PierSight representatives also interacted with students presenting research projects across SAR, FPGA, and related engineering disciplines, creating opportunities for technical discussions and knowledge exchange.
The company acknowledged Prof. Unmesh Khati, Prof. Saurabh Das, and Prof. Abhirup Datta for facilitating its participation and encouraging interactions between industry professionals and students.
As India's private space industry expands, collaboration between academic institutions and space technology companies can help develop engineering talent in RF systems, antenna design, radar signal processing, FPGA development, and satellite communications.
