USA's Analog Devices has announced the release of three RF semiconductor products designed for wideband RF signal chains, covering applications ranging from wireless communications to electronic warfare and RF test equipment.

The ADRF5470 is a 5-bit, die-on-carrier digital attenuator operating from 100 MHz to 22 GHz, offering a 46 dB attenuation range with 2 dB steps, low insertion loss, high linearity, and bidirectional operation.

The ADL8130 is a compact 10 MHz to 8 GHz GaAs pHEMT low-noise amplifier, delivering 25.5 dB typical gain, less than 0.6 dB typical noise figure between 0.5 GHz and 2 GHz, and 37 dBm typical OIP3. The device comes in a compact 2 mm × 2 mm LFCSP package.

The third product, ADPA9005, is a 1 GHz to 28 GHz GaN power amplifier, providing 37.5 dBm typical saturated output power and an integrated temperature-compensated RF power detector.

Together, these products expand Analog Devices' RF portfolio for engineers developing broadband receivers, transmitters, electronic warfare systems, and high-performance RF measurement equipment.

What do you think of Analog Devices' latest RF semiconductor releases, particularly the wideband GaN power amplifier covering frequencies up to 28 GHz? Can any Indian company compete with Analog Devices ever expanding RF portfolio?
